This is a DREAM COME TRUE for me.
If you know me (and I’m sure many of you can relate to this), you know that I spent my whole life trying to fit into a world that’s always felt just a little off-kilter, like I’m tuned to a different frequency.
But in nature, I just am.
In nature, there’s no pressure to think or feel a certain way, no expectation to be “normal” or follow rules that never made sense to begin with. For once, it feels like my mind wasn’t at odds with my surroundings. It’s not that all my struggles disappear, but for those rare moments, I feel like I am enough—exactly as I am.

It’s because of this that I’ll spend the rest of my life exploring nature, and why I’m currently in a competition to support the National Park Foundation and hopefully be named the “Ultimate Explorer.”
