The Hilton Anaheim
The Hilton Anaheim certainly has many things going for it. Boasting over 1500 rooms and suites, the Hilton Anaheim is the largest hotel in the Anaheim Resort District near Disneyland. Also, directly adjacent is the Anaheim Convention Center, one of the largest convention centers in the U.S.
Hilton Anaheim provided us with every amenity we needed, from a heated pool, world-class dining, comfortable rooms, and top guest service. Above all, it’s one of the hotels that are walking distance to Disneyland!

Our Top Pick for Hotels That Are Walking Distance to Disneyland
Due to the sheer number of hotels nearby, it can be difficult to decide where to stay at Disneyland. One thing that makes Hilton Anaheim one of the best hotels near Disneyland park is that it’s within walking distance! It’s just over a mile from the Hilton Anaheim to the front gate of Disneyland, as well as Downtown Disney.
Not having to drive and deal with parking at Disneyland is a huge plus—you save time, and ensure you won’t be needing the services of my brother-in-law, as an Anaheim car accident lawyer 😂 (he IS an amazing personal injury lawyer if you do need one, though, and he’s bilingual too)!
On our recent visit, we found it so simple to walk the few blocks from the Hilton Anaheim to Disneyland and Downtown Disney. There’s so much to love about the Hilton Anaheim that sets it apart from other hotels that are walking distance to Disneyland — read on to find more.

Hilton Anaheim Rooms
With over a dozen different room and hotel suites near Disneyland, you’ll be spoiled for choice at the Hilton Anaheim. Of all the places to stay near Disneyland, Hilton Anaheim has the best rooms, in terms of amenities and comfort.
Our Room
During our stay at Hilton Anaheim, we were lucky to stay in one of the King Studio Suites.
The rooms are twice the size of standard rooms, and we were blown away by how much space we had. From the extra-large, super comfy bed, to the in-room wet bar, to the extra seating area and work desk, we loved every amenity.
Overall, our favorite amenity was definitely the floor-to-ceiling picture windows comprising an entire wall, serving us a nice view of Disneyland.
Hilton Anaheim Disney View
One of our favorite parts of our room at this accommodation near Disneyland was that we could see the park from our windows. Because this hadn’t even occurred to us before our arrival, it made for a nice surprise!
While in the comfort of our room, we watched the Disney fireworks every night. For us, enjoying the fireworks from our room helped us feel that Hilton Anaheim really is the best hotel next to Disneyland.
Hilton Anaheim offers Disney view rooms on the top three floors of the hotel.

Hilton Anaheim Restaurants
Mix Restaurant at the Hilton Anaheim
We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Hilton Anaheim’s Mix Restaurant, located in the hotel’s airy atrium. This Hilton Anaheim restaurant offers up creative and high-quality dishes with an international flair made with local ingredients.
Mix Restaurant has to be one of the best restaurants of the hotels that are walking distance to Disneyland. We loved everything we had! We shared the Pacific octopus with with fennel and bittersweet orange, as well as the creamy black truffle oil and mascarpone risotto.
For my entree, I dined on a perfectly-cooked ribeye with Bordelaise and bone marrow butter.
Lauren ordered the striped bass with beluga lentils, spinach, and cabernet beurre rouge.
Finishing off the meal was a deliciously decadent chocolate caramel cake.
Mix Restaurant provides the rare opportunity to enjoy private dining with the restaurant’s executive chef in the new HGTV-designed Chef’s Table experience.
The Mix Hilton Anaheim restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Mix Lounge, located right outside the restaurant in the hotel lobby, serves a variety of elevated bar food, as well as an extensive selection of cocktails, beer, and wine. Seems like a perfect place to unwind after a busy day at Disney!
Hilton Anaheim Breakfast at Mix
The Hilton Anaheim restaurant at Mix offers continental breakfast as well as a breakfast buffet. Stuffing ourselves silly at breakfast buffets is kind of our thing, so we obviously loved Hilton Anaheim’s breakfast buffet.
Omelets cooked to order, heaps of bacon, fresh fruit, bread pudding yogurt, baked goods and plates of enchiladas and potatoes called our names each morning.

Massage
Our massage at Hilton Anaheim was a highlight of our stay.
It was my first time on a heated massage table, which felt so relaxing from the very beginning. During the massage, the masseuse was very attentive, hitting all the right spots and placing warm towels throughout the massage for our ultimate relaxation. I can’t imagine getting a better massage at any other of the hotels within walking distance of Disneyland!
More information about the spa and health club here.
Hilton Anaheim Pool
The heated outdoor pool at Hilton Anaheim is on the roof of the 5th floor. There’s lots of chaise lounges for those looking to catch some rays, as well as two jacuzzis. We caught some rays ourselves, even in February!
Also, kids can enjoy the play area complete with a water slide and splashing water features.
The Pool Bar & Grill operates seasonally from May through September. Additionally, pool games are available during the summer, including Giant Jenga, Dominoes, and Tic-Tac-Toe.

One of the Best Hotels Within Walking Distance to Disneyland
Of all the hotels within walking distance to Disneyland, the Hilton Anaheim is our top pick. The hotel shined with its vast array of amenities and the high level of comfort it provided for us. I was really impressed by the hotel the minute I saw it from the street — it was so big! It actually reminded me of hotels in Las Vegas, and it definitely lived up to that metric.
